肌醇是水產(chǎn)動(dòng)物必需的營(yíng)養(yǎng)物質(zhì)，對(duì)維持其正常的生理功能有著重要的作用。肌醇通常作為營(yíng)養(yǎng)強(qiáng)化劑添加到魚(yú)類和甲殼類水產(chǎn)動(dòng)物的飼料中，以促進(jìn)水產(chǎn)動(dòng)物的生長(zhǎng)。水產(chǎn)動(dòng)物肌醇攝入不足時(shí)，會(huì)造成食欲不振、生長(zhǎng)阻滯、飼料轉(zhuǎn)化率低、背鰭斷裂、脂肪肝綜合癥、腹?jié)q等癥狀。文華等研究了草魚(yú)幼魚(yú)肌醇的需要量，結(jié)果表明，飼料中肌醇添加量為166~214 mg/kg 對(duì)草魚(yú)生長(zhǎng)有較好的促進(jìn)作用。黃忠等[20]研究表明，在卵形鯧鲹飼料中添加不同含量肌醇時(shí)，飼喂56 d，發(fā)現(xiàn)當(dāng)添加量為720 mg/kg 時(shí)，魚(yú)的增長(zhǎng)率和特定生長(zhǎng)率顯著高于其他添加量組，同時(shí)研究還表明，添加肌醇能顯著降低血液中甘油三酯濃度。Levine 等研究發(fā)現(xiàn)，在金魚(yú)飼料中添加肌醇，可提高金魚(yú)的游動(dòng)能力。Shi等在羅非魚(yú)幼魚(yú)的飼料中添加肌醇發(fā)現(xiàn)，當(dāng)添加量為350 mg/kg 時(shí)，羅非魚(yú)的生長(zhǎng)速度顯著高于其他組。肌醇對(duì)蝦類、蟹類等甲殼類水產(chǎn)動(dòng)物的生長(zhǎng)也有較好促進(jìn)作用。Shi 等以草蝦的幼蝦為研究對(duì)象，在飼料中添加不同水平的肌醇，飼養(yǎng)8 周后發(fā)現(xiàn)，添加4000mg/kg 肌醇的試驗(yàn)組草蝦增長(zhǎng)最快，且飼料中蛋白質(zhì)利用率最高。林仕梅等[研究了不同水平肌醇添加量對(duì)中華絨螯蟹生長(zhǎng)的影響，發(fā)現(xiàn)添加量為400 mg/kg 時(shí)，中華絨螯蟹生長(zhǎng)速度最快。
